Meet Larry A. Morgan

Larry A. Morgan is President of the law firm of Morgan and Morgan, P.C., in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1969 from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctorate degree in 1973 from the University of Oklahoma. He was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. 

Larry A. Morgan is an adjunct professor at the University of Central Oklahoma, Funeral Service Department, having taught Mortuary Law since 1974 to the present.

 

He has also taught Health Law at Oklahoma Baptist University and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma State Nursing Home Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma Funeral Board, and Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association. Since 1973 to the present, he has practiced law in Oklahoma City in the areas of wills, trusts, probate, divorce, real estate, business purchases, sales and formations, personal injury, tax, and Oklahoma Funeral Board representation. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma, majoring in Accounting and minoring in Finance.

 

He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western District of Oklahoma and for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the United States Tax Court, and all Oklahoma state courts.  He has been married to his wife, Christine, for over 35 years and has three adult children. He practiced law with his father, Russell L. Morgan, for 30 years until his father’s death in 2003.

  • Served as Board of Review and Project Approval Chairman, for Eagle Candidates, Last Frontier Council.

  • Served as Friends of Scouting Coordinator for Scouting Units sponsored by the Oklahoma City Stake of The Church
    of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.

  • Has assisted numerous young men to receive their Eagle Scout Award.

  • Served as 2-time President of the Northwest Oklahoma City Rotary Club.
  • Served as 2-time President of his homeowners association.
